You must have a photo ID to register for classes at RCLP. Additionally, you will need a photo ID and another form of identification to take the actual GED exam.
If you younger than 18 years old you must have parental permission to enroll in classes or take the GED. Form must be notarized and is is available at the office.
The exam has 4 subjects and each cost $35. The Civics exam costs $9. Limited partial scholarships are available.
All GED students must take the Test of Adult Basic Education to determine skill levels. Based on the results, a program of instruction is developed for each student.
When you register for GED classes you must sign up for a GED account, if you do not already have one. Rim Literacy will save your information so it can be accessed to determine if you have passed the Readiness Test or actual GED exam.
The Rim Literacy Program is NOT a drop in program All students are expected to attened classes, complete assignments, and call if you cannot attend.
